NOTE FROM DIANA MORGAN - DIRECTOR |
| "Stress related psychological and physiological disorders are currently on the rise. Insurance companies are now starting to see the value of massage therapy as a viable health alternative to be included in a treatment plan. More than ever, qualified, certified massage therapists are in demand. With a commitment of 6 flexible hours per week in class, for 16 weeks, you can become a certified massage therapist. You will be able to work in the following health and fitness positions: hospitals, sports medicine clinics, physical therapy clinics, chiropractic clinics, gyms, aerobic studios and/or start a busines of your own, scheduling your own hours." |
NATIONALLY CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS |
| We have an excellent, well-rounded and highly educated staff. Our Nationally Certified instructors have expertise in the following areas, such as chiropractic medicine, recreational therapy, nursing, secondary education and counseling. Our student to teacher ratio is better than the national average. We generally have a student to teacher ratio of 6:1 or lower. |
ADDRESSING THE NEEDS OF THOSE IN THE MIDDLE |
| We are often asked the question "Why is the cost of your school so much less than other schools?" My response is, we address a huge demographic, we wrote the program for the individuals that make too much money to qualify for federal financial aid and too little to qualify for an educational loan. The Flint School of Therapeutic Massage offers some financial aid and very affordable payment plans. We take great pride in our attempt to work with the students regarding tuition costs. |
